Crepe & Extensible Technology
Specialty Crepe Products
Creping is a means of mechanically compacting paper in the machine direction to add stretch. The amount of creping impacts the smoothness, porosity, and the hand or drape of the paper. Creping also has a significant affect on softness and absorbency attributes. Creping is used primarily in applications that require stretch, toughness and conformability.
