With no compromise on performance, our patent application pending Acti-V® RF Natural products allow up to –20% carbon footprint reduction*, thanks to a selected blend of unbleached and recycled cellulose fibers.🌿

Acti-V® RF Natural products for PSA tape applications, designed for silicone coating on both sides, and embedding Ahlstrom’s proprietary Acti-V® technology, contain:

at least 70% unbleached fibers, and
at least 15% post-consumer recycled fibers,
and do not contain any dyes.

Entirely renewable, they can be supplied with FSC® Chain-of-Custody certification, are biodegradable and recyclable (according to CEPI Recyclability Laboratory Test Method), and additionally support recyclability of the silicone coated liner.

Lower carbon footprint

Contain at least 70% Unbleached Fibers, whose production does not require the bleaching process (oxygen delignification), and the related chemicals. The fiber composition allows up to -20% carbon footprint reduction*.
Support circularity

Contain at least 15% post-consumer (PCR) Recycled Fibers, which gives new life to waste, and reduces the use of fresh raw materials. Absence of dyes makes repulping and recycling easier.
Natural look

Acti-V® RF Natural products contain no dyes. Their distinctive aspect is the natural result of the combination of Recycled and Unbleached cellulose fibers. Sustainability is evident at first glance!
Natural inside

Based on natural and renewable cellulose fibers, as an alternative to fossil-based materials, for a responsible plastic-to-paper transition. Can be supplied with FSC® Chain-of-Custody certification.

The careful blend of lower impact raw materials, combined with Ahlstrom extensive fiber processing competence, allows a significant reduction of environmental impact while maintaining the outstanding benefits of Ahlstrom’s proprietary Acti-V® technology: a highly efficient silicone coating and curing process, offering potential reductions in consumption of energy, catalysts, and silicone!

At the same time, unbleached fibers deliver higher paper mechanical characteristics, making Acti V® RF Natural an even stronger and safer liner, even at lighter basis weight.
