DNA/RNA extraction media

Ahlstrom's DNA/RNA extraction portfolio is suitable for the extraction of DNA/RNA from samples in spin columns technology and microchips.

These products consist of pure binder-free glass microfibers made into a filter with ultrapure water and characterized by the retention of very fine particles.

Our media is incorporated in spin columns and microchips to retain DNA/RNA under specific pH and salt conditions from a very small amount of cells. Contaminants are removed using a wash buffer and the purified genomic DNA is eluted in a low salt Elution Buffer and the purified total RNA is eluted in RNase-free Water.

Each media is specifically selected for ensuring high quality and consistency. Close surveillance in tightly controlled conditions provides the highest uniformity, consistency and
smoothness of the final products in all grades.
