Ahlstrom Flow2Save(TM) won INDEX 14 Award
Ahlstrom Flow2Save(TM) product has today won the INDEX 14 Award. The prize was awarded by EDANA at INDEX, Europe's leading nonwovens exhibition taking place in Geneva, Switzerland. At the event, Ahlstrom presents its extensive product range for life science, medical, beverages, water, and transportation filtration markets.
EDANA announced the nominees for the INDEX 14 Awards in early March. Ahlstrom's products were nominated in two categories: Ahlstrom Flow2Save(TM) in sustainable product category and Ahlstrom Captimax(TM) in nonwoven roll good category.
Today's award-winning Ahlstrom Flow2Save(TM) is a patent-pending filter media for high efficiency air applications in indoor air and cleanroom environments, designed to lower energy consumption and costs.
"EDANA's INDEX 14 Awards recognize excellence in fiber-based products, and related industries. Ahlstrom's award-winning product is a result of our long-term development work and part of our offering for a clean and healthy environment. We are proud to have our product presented with this prestigious award," says Paul Stenson, EVP, Technology and Strategy Development.
EDANA's INDEX14 Awards highlight some of the innovations from businesses of all sizes, and from all parts of the nonwovens supply chain, and an overwhelming number of applications were received by the deadline.
Ahlstrom's Advanced Filtration, Food, Medical and Transportation Filtration business areas are presented at INDEX in booth 1530.
